For the Lord says good come to those who wait upon the Lord, so I waited…

As time passed, I read ‘’Power of a Praying Wife’’, by Stormie Omartian. It gave me hope, filled my spirit, and allowed me to exercise the continued prayers for me and my future husband.

Everyone around me, all my friends, had a boyfriend or girlfriend or were getting married. Of course, I was happy and sincere; I knew my day was coming. Yes, I was dating while still waiting for Mr. Right, but none of the guys measured up to what I felt was in store for me. All I could think about was my prayer list. Waiting is not always easy, but it is undoubtedly worth it!

I often told many that my day would come as soon as I found the one. The day came when my husband arrived. Well, I kept the faith, and about five years later, I finally laid eyes on him.
